Microsoft released a teaser of Project Helix, the code name for the next generation of Xbox. The company shared images related to the development of its consoles in the run-up to its presentation to
developers.As reported by the company itself through the Microsoft Game Dev account on the social network X, the advance comes as part of the GDC Festival of Gaming, the video game industry event that takes place in San Francisco until March 13.

Microsoft Game Dev release included three images accompanied by a short message: “Xbox at GDC. Advance”.
In the description, the company explained that these are black and white images of Xbox hardware used as a preview of the event.
The photos show different devices with the acronym XDK, the nomenclature that Microsoft uses for Xbox development kits.

These devices are special versions of consoles that are given to studios and developers to create video games. Devkits usually have a different design than commercial consoles and have additional tools for testing and programming.
The images do not show the new Xbox
Although the advance generated speculation in the gamer community, the images published by Microsoft do not correspond to
new hardware.
