In his speech at ExpoEFI, President Javier Milei stated that the economic stabilization phase has ended and that the country is already on the path to growth.
He also criticized those who predicted a catastrophic scenario after the removal of the currency exchange control, and assured that "inflation has a death date." "Inflation is still high, but by the middle of next year it will end," the president assured.
President Milei was the main speaker at ExpoEFI, where he opened his intervention by reviewing the economic legacy received and the critical situation Argentina faced upon taking office. During the acknowledgments, applause stood out when Minister Luis "Toto" Caputo was mentioned, present at the event's opening day.
At the beginning of his presentation, the Argentine president stated that "we have concluded the stabilization phase" and highlighted that "the improvement in activity, employment, and wages has caused poverty to fall 22 points to 35%," and in that sense, he ironically remarked: "The heartless liberals who don't care about people have lifted 10 million human beings out of poverty, something that has never happened in Argentine history with such force in such a short time."

The Minister of Economy anticipated in this context that, in the coming weeks, the Government will implement a measure aimed at promoting the use of dollars within the real economy.
During his presentation, President Javier Milei also delivered strong criticism of the former Kirchnerist Minister of Economy, Martín Guzmán, whom he described as "imbecile, incapable, and underdeveloped" for having promoted a law that requires agreements with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to be validated by Congress, something that had never happened before.
