Argentine President Javier Milei ranked among the world leaders with the highest positive image and topped the ranking in the Americas, according to the latest Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker prepared by consulting firm Morning Consult.
The survey, based on polls conducted between December 8 and 14, 2025, shows that the Argentine head of state is part of the group of heads of state with the best public evaluation at the international level.
The approval ratings released by Morning Consult are constructed from a simple seven-day moving average and reflect the opinions of adults in each of the countries surveyed. In this context, Milei reached a 55% positive image, with a 41% negative image and just 4% of people who replied that they did not know or had no opinion.

At the global level, the ranking is led by India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who records an approval rating of 71%, with a 22% negative image and 7% undecided. In second place is Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, with a positive rating of 61%, followed by Lee Jae-myung of South Korea, who reaches a 56% approval rating.
In this context, President Javier Milei is positioned in fourth place in the global ranking, surpassing in positive image several leaders of developed and emerging countries.
Behind the Argentine head of state is Canada's Prime Minister, Mark Carney, with a 48% positive image, a 41% negative image, and 11% undefined responses. The comparison reinforces Milei's position within the group of leaders with the highest relative support among the public opinion of their respective countries.

The most relevant data in the report, from a regional perspective, is that Javier Milei tops the list of presidents in the Americas with the best image. According to Morning Consult's tracker, the Argentine head of state surpasses other leaders on the continent such as communist Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico, who records a 45% approval rating and a 49% negative image; Donald Trump, President of the United States, with a 43% positive image and a 51% negative image; and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, dictator of Brazil, who reaches a 42% approval rating compared to a huge 54% disapproval.
Morning Consult's report thus highlights Milei's position on the international stage, placing him among the leaders with the best image at the global level and as the best-rated president in the Americas during the period analyzed.
