President Javier Milei was invited to take part in the Hispanic Prosperity Gala, which will be held next February 10 in Mar-a-Lago, the exclusive complex located in Florida and owned by former U.S. President Donald Trump. If it takes place, it would be Milei's first official trip to the United States in 2026.
According to reports from Washington, the organizers of the event take the presence of the Argentine president for granted and are waiting for him to deliver a speech in which he will reaffirm his worldview, his economic program, and the strategic alliance that he keeps with Republican leadership in the United States. However, so far, the Casa Rosada hasn't formally confirmed the presidential participation.

The Hispanic Prosperity Gala brings together political, business, and financial leaders from the United States and Latin America, and it has established itself as a space with a strong ideological imprint, focused on the defense of the free market, private property, and Western values. In that context, Milei would be recognized for his economic perspective and his critical stance toward statism and interventionism.
If he travels to Miami, the President would also be scheduled to speak at the Council of the Americas, one of the most influential economic and political debate forums on the continent. At least 150 business leaders have already expressed interest in listening to him, especially after his presentation at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where he once again defended liberal ideology without concessions.
