Minister Patricia Bullrich joined Javier Milei's La Libertad Avanza

The event was attended by key figures from the space, such as Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency

With a large turnout, the Minister of National Security, Patricia Bullrich, formalized her affiliation with La Libertad Avanza, the party led by President Javier Milei, marking a significant shift in the Argentine political landscape.

The event, held at Plaza Vicente López y Planes in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Recoleta, was attended by key figures of the space, such as Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency. This move not only signifies Minister Bullrich's entry into the ruling party but also deepens the fractures in Mauricio Macri's PRO, the party she chaired until 2024.

This affiliation, which was announced by journalist Eduardo Feinmann on Radio Mitre in the morning, comes less than two weeks before the elections scheduled for May 18 in the City of Buenos Aires.

Patricia Bullrich is one of the most valued figures by President Javier Milei and keeps a close political alignment with Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency and responsible for the ruling party's national electoral strategy.

After being left out of the runoff in the 2023 elections, Bullrich chose to support La Libertad Avanza, accompanied by her then running mate, Luis Petri, current Minister of Defense. The former presidential candidate offered her public support and unconditionally before the so-called Acassuso Pact, in which Milei and Macri agreed to join forces to defeat the Kirchnerist Sergio Massa.

Bullrich's formal incorporation into the ranks of LLA coincides with a political context in which her opponent in the PASO, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, is competing with a separate list from the PRO.

In the City of Buenos Aires, the campaign team of La Libertad Avanza, led by Buenos Aires legislator Pilar Ramírez, organized the affiliation event as part of the electoral strategy. Bullrich has been one of the first members of the national Cabinet to join the tours alongside Karina Milei and Manuel Adorni.
