A model linked Luis Advíncula to a private party where anything could happen.

Shirley Arica detailed an encounter in which two other players were also present. Due to the repercussions, the Xeneize full-back closed his social media accounts and restricted comments

In an interview for the television program El Valor de la Verdad, the Peruvian model Shirley Arica revealed details of an alleged private meeting attended by the players Christian Cueva, Yoshimar Yotún, and Luis Advíncula.

Her statements caused a great controversy on social media and led the footballers to take measures on their personal profiles. Additionally, Boca Juniors's full-back was involved in this controversy at a key moment, as he was drafted by the Peru National Team for the matches against Bolivia and Venezuela in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Arica recounted that she was invited by a friend to an apartment in Miraflores, where the three footballers were present. "A friend invited me and told me that Cueva, Yotún, and Advíncula were going to be there," she said. According to her testimony, the meeting included music, dancing, and alcohol consumption, in addition to mentioning that the players were absent at certain times. "Anything could happen there," she stated.

Regarding the involved footballers, Arica indicated that she initially felt attracted to Yotún, but he didn't pay attention to her because he was with someone else. "The first one who approached me was Cueva, very alert, super gentlemanly. He wanted me to get drunk at all costs, but he wasted his time. We danced, he dances well. I found Yotún interesting, but he ignored me, the other one, the ugly one, Cueva, paid attention to me," she expressed.

Additionally, she claimed that Cueva tried to take her "to the bathroom", although she made it clear that the situation didn't escalate. "We kissed... I started to see him more handsome, I don't know if it was the alcohol, but well," she confessed on the program. Regarding Advíncula, she mentioned his presence at the party but didn't offer more details about his behavior during the meeting.

The model insinuated that alleged "partner swaps" could have occurred at the meeting. After the program aired, Luis Advíncula temporarily deactivated his social media account and, upon reactivating it, restricted comments. Yoshimar Yotún made a similar decision on his Instagram profile. So far, none of the players have made official statements on the matter.

This scandal comes at a delicate moment for Advíncula. Since his arrival at Boca in 2021, he has made his mark with his dedication on the field, becoming a key piece of the squad, to the point of being cheered at La Bombonera on several occasions. However, his performance has shown ups and downs recently, and last Sunday he was a substitute in the 4-0 victory against Defensa y Justicia in the Torneo Apertura. His place in the team was taken by Lucas Blondel, who had an outstanding performance in the rout. In 2025, the Peruvian has played nine matches and scored one goal.
