Flor Torrente's moving message after her father's death
Rubén Torrente, Araceli González's first husband and father of her first daughter, passed away at 62
Rubén Torrente passed away at 62, leaving a profound sorrow in his family. He was the first husband of Araceli González and father of Florencia Torrente, who bid him farewell with emotional words on social media.
Through her official Instagram account, the actress shared a heartbreaking message after her father's passing. In her post, she expressed the difficulty of facing that inevitable moment: "Well... that day finally came. The day that since we were little we knew we never wanted to come, because just thinking about it made us cry," she wrote.

Flor described the impact of the loss as an immense and overwhelming pain: "The day came to say goodbye, at least on this plane, to one of the most important people in our lives. So difficult, so painful, so fierce; it completely pierces you, while everything continues."
Despite the pain, the actress highlighted the happiness of having shared unforgettable moments with him. "But there's also enormous happiness and love. Because the pain is SO GREAT as his presence and the mark he left in life. Every memory, caress, companionship, and laughter remain alive in me."

In her emotional message, Flor also thanked every moment with her father: "We'll see each other again, ruchito, to kiss and hug once more. Meanwhile, I'll keep talking to you from here, listening to our beloved Sir Rod, taking care of the little fortinero, and nurturing the Torrente/Lezcano family with much love." Her post closed with a touching "I love you, I miss you forever and always. Thank you, papucho."
The cause of Rubén Torrente's death
Natalia Lezcano, Rubén Torrente's partner, revealed the cause of his death through a video on social media. She explained that Rubén died while playing soccer.

"It was Thursday, February 27. He was playing with a dad friend from school and with Vicente, who was on the field next to him," she recounted.
At 9 PM, she received an unexpected call that would change their lives forever. "They told me he had collapsed and they were resuscitating him. His heart stopped, and they couldn't do anything more. It was a tremendous shock because he never came back," Lezcano said.
Despite the pain, she emphasized that her priority now is her son and supporting him through this very difficult time. "Today my priority is my son and being a mom to help him get through this very tough moment," she concluded.
