The National Electoral Chamber confirmed the schedule for the October elections.
A public hearing will be held on September 1 for the presentation of the Single Paper Ballot design
The National Electoral Chamber (CNE) established the electoral calendar for the legislative elections on October 26, following the suspension of the PASO.
Extraordinary Agreement No. 26 details the key dates for the consultation of electoral rolls, submission of candidacies, and development of the electoral campaign, in addition to the implementation of the Single Paper Ballot.

Key dates of the electoral process
The schedule establishes the deadlines for different stages of the electoral process:
- April 19: closing of the provisional roll.
- April 29: publication of the roll for citizen consultation.
- August 7: deadline for the recognition of alliances.
- August 17: closing of the submission of candidate lists.
- August 27: start of the electoral campaign.
- September 26: beginning of the campaign in media.
- October 18: prohibition of the dissemination of surveys and polls.
- October 26: general legislative elections.
Meanwhile, on September 1, a public hearing will be held for the presentation of the Single Paper Ballot design, in which party symbols and candidate photographs will be approved.
Suspension of the judicial recess and training
To ensure compliance with the schedule, the CNE decided to suspend the July judicial recess in the electoral jurisdiction and postpone technical-administrative staff licenses. Additionally, it will be defined how the training of polling station authorities and voters for the new voting modality will be implemented.

In previous meetings between the CNE and the Executive Branch, it was agreed that the government will collaborate in citizen training and information on the electoral process and the new voting methodology.

Six provinces have already set dates for their midterm elections:
- Salta: May 4.
- Chaco, Jujuy, and San Luis: May 11.
- City of Buenos Aires: May 18.
- Santa Fe: June 29.
The province of Buenos Aires has not yet decided whether to advance its elections.
