The NBA opened its first official store in Argentina
Local fans will now be able to directly access official products
The National Basketball Association (NBA) took an important step in its international expansion strategy by announcing the opening of its first official store in Argentina. This initiative represents a milestone for both the league and the local fans, who will now be able to directly access official products without needing to resort to purchases abroad or on digital platforms.
The new store will offer a wide range of products, including apparel, accessories, exclusive merchandise, and collectible items from the league's most iconic teams. The goal is for this store to become a meeting point for the growing Argentine basketball fan community, providing an experience that directly connects with the NBA universe.

The opening is part of an ambitious global strategy by the NBA to strengthen its presence in emerging markets, where interest in basketball has seen sustained growth in recent years. In Argentina's case, this enthusiasm has been driven by the performance of national figures in the league, such as Emanuel Ginóbili, and by the rise of audiovisual content related to the sport, which has captured the attention of new generations.
The NBA's official store will be located on Panamericana Avenue and Edison, in Martínez, San Isidro. Meanwhile, Rosario is positioning itself as one of the key cities in this expansion process. In the northern part of the city, the construction of the Rosario Arena Sports complex is advancing, located at Av. Jorge Newbery and Sánchez de Loria. This space will feature a top-level multipurpose stadium and will be the site of the country's first NBA Basketball School.

The project, the result of an alliance between Rosario investors and the NBA, aims to train young talents in a professional environment, with elite infrastructure and methodology. The center is expected to be operational before the end of the year, consolidating Rosario as a new hub for Argentine and Latin American basketball.
