Larreta disastrous: to engage in politics, he latched onto a request from Wanda Nara to Milei
Taking advantage of any opportunity to campaign, the former head of government got involved in a request from Nara to Milei
The candidate for Buenos Aires legislator and former head of Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, reacted to a post by Wanda Nara where the media personality made a request to President Javier Milei. In a video posted on social media, Nara requested that dogs be allowed to enter supermarkets, something that, according to her, is common in other countries.
"In other countries where we live, we got spoiled, and I would love to adopt those good habits: being able to go with dogs anywhere," the businesswoman expressed in the video. "Fran doesn't want to enter the supermarket because he has to leave Cookie tied up outside."
"My idea would be for owners to be responsible, to bring wipes to clean if the dog does something and also bags," she added. "But well, we're staying here with Cookie, outside the supermarket. They left us outside, although luckily we came with someone who's helping us with the shopping," Wanda Nara concluded in her message directed at the president who is a dog lover.

Larreta used Nara to make politics against Milei
Through a message on his X account, Larreta replied to Wanda Nara, aligning himself with her request that pets be able to accompany their owners in public spaces. "I care about pets too," Larreta stated, making it clear that, in his proposal, the access of animals would be included in all places, including public transportation.
The former head of Buenos Aires Government took the opportunity to shift the conversation toward a topic of greater political impact: the responsibility of the City of Buenos Aires on these issues, instead of attributing the responsibility to the National Government of Javier Milei.
This debate comes in a context where Wanda Nara, a public figure with great influence on social media, positioned herself as a spokesperson for this cause, generating a discussion that crossed the borders of the merely domestic to take on a political tone, with Larreta using the media personality's fame to make politics against President Milei.
