Neuquén opens its summer season with nature, adventure, and Patagonian flavors
The province launched its summer tourism proposal with outdoor activities, culture, regional cuisine, and unique experiences in the impressive settings of southern Argentina
From the mountain range to the valleys, Neuquén showcases its summer offerings with multiple experiences for those seeking relaxation, adventure, or contact with nature. Visitors can explore lakes, rivers, mountains, national parks, and trails that combine relaxation, sports, and culture.
Sport fishing in renowned rivers
Sport fishing once again stands out as one of the season's main attractions. Rivers such as Malleo, Chimehuín, Aluminé, and Limay offer top-tier circuits, with specialized guides, boat services, and accommodations that turn the activity into a comprehensive experience.
Adventure tourism for the most active
Neuquén invites those seeking adrenaline with kayaking, rafting, trekking, climbing, mountain biking, and horseback riding in settings that include volcanoes, steppes, and the high mountain range. The province thus establishes itself as a leading destination for active and sports tourism.

Lakes, beaches, and lake tourism
Neuquén's summer also offers experiences in contact with water: catamaran rides, sailing, or motorboat excursions on lakes such as Moquehue, Caviahue, and Huechulafquen. The beaches and shores invite picnics, birdwatching, and family outdoor activities.
Culture, history, and indigenous peoples
Cultural tourism is experienced through circuits of Mapuche communities, who share customs, gastronomy, and traditions. Additionally, paleontological tourism allows visitors to explore sites and museums in El Chocón, Plaza Huincul, and Rincón de los Sauces, where visitors get closer to the history of dinosaurs.
Regional flavors and wine routes

Neuquén also stands out for its gastronomy and local production: wineries open to tourism, high-altitude vineyards, craft beers, and typical dishes such as chivito al asador, Patagonian trout, and pine nuts. Popular festivals and regional cuisine restaurants complement the experience.
Innovative and accessible experiences
The province expands its offerings with astronomical tourism, stargazing, rural, religious, and accessible tourism, with adapted spaces to ensure inclusion for everyone.

Growing infrastructure and connectivity
With more than 900 authorized accommodations, travel agencies, and tour operators, Neuquén is preparing to welcome visitors from across the country and abroad. The province is committed to sustainable, diverse tourism that is deeply connected to its identity.
