Two weeks after confirming his separation from Gimena Accardi, with whom he shared an 18-year relationship, Nico Vázquez broke his silence and spoke about the possibility of a reconciliation.
He did so in an interview with LAM (América), just minutes before taking the stage to star in Rocky, the musical, where he is currently playing one of the most demanding roles of his career.
When asked by reporter Santiago Riva Roy if there was a chance of getting back together with his ex, the actor replied cautiously but without closing any doors: "Only God knows that, I don't know, I can't say."
With the composure that characterizes him, he avoided making definitive statements, although his words suggested that the bond between them remains close.
During the interview, Nico revealed that he suffered an intercostal injury due to the intense fight choreography in the play.

When the journalist asked if he interpreted it as a sign, he reflected: "Yes, of course, I believe in what you say. I pay attention to it because they're signs. But I also believe that every time I come here healthy, I have a good time. This is the role of my life, the project of my life, and I'm also very happy about that."
Regarding how he is going through this personal moment, the artist said that he relies on his close circle: "My support comes from my friends, my family... the usual ones. I rely on them. I vent by talking, I've always been someone who talks a lot. Now I'm doing more therapy than before, so I've also learned to be more observant. Psychoanalysis is something you need and it helps you solve a lot of things."
About the balance he makes of his long relationship with Accardi, he was clear: "It's a lot of things. I feel that we were a successful couple in love. You have to be together for 18 years, it's a long time loving each other, respecting each other..."

He added with maturity: "Afterwards, that's life: you grow, you find each other, you don't find each other, and you also have to know how to accept and let go."
Although they're no longer together, the bond between them remains cordial. "We talk all the time, we're connected all the time, but well, we don't see each other as often as before," he clarified.
