Romina Uhrig, former participant of Gran Hermano, was once again at the center of controversy after being involved in a serious incident during the early hours of Sunday. After 2 a.m., she was stopped by a police checkpoint in the Udaondo area, near the River Plate stadium.
According to Pepe Ochoa on LAM (América), the operation uncovered multiple violations that sparked a real scandal. The journalist began narrating the event enigmatically, but finally revealed Uhrig's name and showed the infraction report live.
A checkpoint that uncovered real chaos
The breathalyzer test was the first to show irregularities: it showed a result of 0.98 grams of alcohol in the blood, when the maximum allowed for private drivers in the City of Buenos Aires is 0.5.
No license, no insurance, and overcrowded
The situation was compounded by other serious offenses. Uhrig did not have her driver's license nor did she have the mandatory vehicle insurance certificate. Additionally, her Ford Territory was carrying more people than allowed, exceeding the capacity according to the available seat belts.
