The event will take place on Friday, August 8, with discounts for Children's Day throughout the country
The Night of Toy Stores 2025 will be held this Friday, August 8 throughout the country, with exclusive discounts, interest-free installments, and banking promotions designed to encourage early purchases for Children's Day.
The initiative, organized by the Argentine Chamber of the Toy Industry (CAIJ), aims to boost sales in both physical and online toy stores, right before Sunday, August 17, the official date of the celebration.

What promotions will be available during the Night of Toy Stores
On that day, participating stores will offer benefits such as 2-for-1 deals, installment financing, special discounts, and coupons for future purchases.

The details of each promotion will be available at the stores themselves and on the official CAIJ website, which publishes the complete list of participating toy stores, including addresses and links to their online shops.
The event will have nationwide reach, with confirmed participation in Buenos Aires City, Greater Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Santa Fe, Mendoza, and other provinces.
The campaign is supported by banking institutions, which add additional benefits with credit cards, extending the possibility of accessing quality products at more affordable prices.
When is Children's Day celebrated in 2025 and why is the date maintained
This year, Children's Day will be celebrated on Sunday, August 17, coinciding with the holiday for the Passage to Immortality of General José de San Martín.
Initially, there had been consideration of moving the date forward due to a possible conflict with the national PASO elections, but after the suspension of the primary elections, it was decided to maintain the tradition of the third Sunday in August.

CAIJ clarified that the decision is not based on commercial reasons, but rather on the goal of facilitating the organization of family celebrations during a long weekend.
"Children's Day has a very strong cultural and emotional value for many generations of Argentines," stated the Chamber.
It is worth noting that since 2012, Children's Day in Argentina has been observed on the third Sundayof August, after having been celebrated for decades on the second.
