The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) confirmed the requirements and amounts for non-contributory pensions (PNC) for March 2025.
Non-contributory pensions (PNC) are intended for people in vulnerable situations who do not have sufficient contributions to access a retirement. To receive the benefit, it is necessary to meet certain specific conditions according to the type of pension.

Non-contributory pensions: requirements according to the type of benefit
Non-contributory pension for work disability
- Prove a work disability of 66% or more through an Official Medical Certificate (CMO).
- Be up to 65 years old.
- Be a native, naturalized, or resident Argentine with a minimum of 10 years in the country. In the case of minors, parents or guardians must prove 3 years of residence.
- Not receive another retirement or pension.
- If the applicant is a minor, the family group's income must not exceed the equivalent of four minimum retirements.
- If you live in Santiago del Estero, Santa Cruz, San Luis, La Pampa, Neuquén, or Tierra del Fuego, you need a cadastral report in your name or your spouse's.
Non-contributory pension for mothers of 7 children
- Be Argentine or naturalized with at least one year of residence in the country.
- If you are a foreigner, prove 15 years of residence in Argentina.
- Not receive retirement, pension, or withdrawal, whether contributory or non-contributory.
- Not receive Universal Child Allowance (AUH), Family Allowance for Child, or Pregnancy Allowance.
- Not possess assets, income, or economic resources that allow your subsistence or that of your family group.
- The spouse may have a social security benefit, but not a non-contributory old age or disability pension.
In case of death, the pension can be collected by the widow, incapacitated partner, or minor or disabled children.

Non-contributory pension for old age
- Be 70 years or older.
- Be a native or naturalized Argentine with at least 5 years of residence in the country.
- If you are a foreigner, you must have resided in Argentina for at least 40 years before applying for the pension.
- Not receive any other social security benefit, neither the holder nor their spouse.
- Not have assets, income, or resources that allow the subsistence of the beneficiary and their family.
- Not be detained at the disposal of the Justice.
If the holder leaves the country permanently, they will lose the right to the pension.
Non-contributory pension for people with HIV and/or Hepatitis B and/or C
- Be 18 years old and reside in Argentina at the time of application.
- If you are a naturalized Argentine or foreigner, you must prove 5 years of continuous residence.
- Have a diagnosis registered in the National Health Surveillance System.
- Pass the socioeconomic evaluation.
Monthly income can't exceed the equivalent of a Minimum Living and Mobile Wage. If you have a partner, the family group's income must not exceed three minimum wages.

When do I receive the non-contributory pension in March 2025?
ANSES confirmed the payment schedule for PNCs for March 2025, according to the DNI termination:
- DNI ending in 0 and 1: Wednesday, March 12.
- DNI ending in 2 and 3: Wednesday, March 12.
- DNI ending in 4 and 5: Thursday, March 13.
- DNI ending in 6 and 7: Thursday, March 13.
- DNI ending in 8 and 9: Friday, March 14.
How much is received for a non-contributory pension in March 2025?
ANSES announced an increase in non-contributory pensions for March 2025, adjusted for January's inflation, which was 2.2%.
- PNC for disability and old age: $195,366.08.
- PNC for mothers of seven children: $279,094.40.

The Government still needs to confirm whether there will be an additional bonus of $70,000, as occurred in previous months. The official announcement is expected in the days leading up to the start of the payment schedule.
