After an extensive awards ceremony, the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner was finally announced: Ousmane Dembélé. Meanwhile, for the Argentinians, Alexis Mac Allister and Lautaro Martínez finished in 22nd and 20th place, respectively in the best player of the year category, while Emiliano "Dibu" Martínez lost the Yashin Trophy to Gianluigi Donnarumma and finished eighth in the final goalkeeper ranking.
