Since August 4, 'Los 8 Escalones' returns with Pampita as the host in the afternoons on the channel
El Trece renewed its afternoon programming with an unexpected move: the departure of Viviana Canosa left a key time slot vacant that will now be filled by Los 8 Escalones, the successful question-and-answer show hosted by Guido Kaczka, but with a new figure at the helm: Carolina Pampita Ardohain.
The host will make her debut at 2:45 p.m., in the time slot that until July 31 belonged to Viviana en Vivo. The channel is thus betting on a well-known figure, who was already part of the format as a judge, and who will now take charge of the show.
This is how El Trece's afternoon line-up looks
The complete reconfiguration of El Trece's afternoon schedule has been defined as follows:
- 12:30: El Zorro
- 1:00 p.m.: Mediodía Noticias
- 2:45 p.m.: Los 8 Escalones, now with Pampita
- 4:30 p.m.: Cuestión de Peso
- 6:15 p.m.: Ahora Caigo!
The line-up aims to compete more strongly in the ratings, with familiar bets and the return of successful formats.
From judge to host: Pampita's new challenge
Pampita's arrival at Los 8 Escalones was first reported by Fede Flowers on Cabak 107.9 and later confirmed by journalist Marcelo Polino. Filming began this Monday the 4th at the Kuarzo studios, with the model already established as the central figure of the show.
Pampita is no stranger to the role of host. She began her television career on El Rayo, sharing the screen with María Vázquez. In 2016, she launched Pampita Online, first on Telefe and later on Net TV. Then, in 2018, she led Pampita Íntima, an interview show with entertainment figures.
In recent years, she has also remained active on social media and as the face of various brands, but her return to a daily show marks a significant shift in her media career.
With this move, El Trece aims to refresh its screen without losing the strength of formats that have already worked, while adding popular faces that promise to attract viewers. Pampita, with her charisma and experience, now faces the challenge of hosting one of the channel's most-watched shows.
