Guido Kaczka broke down on air over Mila Yankelevich's death
The host sent an emotional message to the Yankelevich family from El Trece after the tragedy
Guido Kaczka couldn't contain his emotion when referring to the death of Mila Yankelevich on his show Buenas Noches Familia, on El Trece. Visibly affected, the host dedicated heartfelt words to the family of the 7-year-old girl.
"Today was a very special day because of what we all experienced," he began, his voice breaking. "I kept thinking about La Locomotora, and then what happened to Tomás Yankelevich... It's a huge family, a big family," he said, moved.
Kaczka took a moment to send his direct support to Mila's parents, Tomás Yankelevich and Sofía Reca, as well as to Cris Morena and Gustavo Yankelevich. "On a personal level, because I care about them so much, I want to give them a big hug from here, from El Trece," he stated.

The host also highlighted the pain shared by everyone: "All Argentinians are hurting. Also the other family, the one of the other girl. To everyone going through this tragedy, the strongest hug from El Trece."
The tragedy that shook the Yankelevich family
Mila Yankelevich, daughter of Tomás Yankelevich and Sofía Reca, passed away on Monday in a tragic boating accident in Miami. The girl, granddaughter of two icons of Argentine television such as Cris Morena and Gustavo Yankelevich, was only seven years old.

The young girl was participating in a recreational activity as part of a summer camp when a barge collided with the sailboat she was sailing on with other girls. The crash caused the deaths of Mila and another Argentine girl, 13 years old.
Rodrigo Lussich confirmed the news on Tuesday, July 29, on the show Lape Club Social, and expressed with regret: "The news we didn't want to deliver." The shock quickly spread among entertainment figures and on social media, where thousands of people expressed their sadness.
Ongoing investigation and national shock
Local authorities have launched an investigation to determine how the collision that ended the lives of the girls occurred. For now, no official details have emerged regarding responsibility or negligence.
The tragedy struck again a family that had already gone through difficult times in the past. The artistic community, as well as colleagues and viewers, joined in expressions of affection toward Mila's parents and grandparents.
Guido Kaczka's message was one of the most heartfelt and represented the pain shared by many: the pain of a loss that left an entire country speechless.
