The Minister of National Security confirmed it in a post on her social media
National Security Minister, Patricia Bullrich, formally announced her candidacy for senator for La Libertad Avanza (LLA) in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), in a message filled with determination and commitment to security, freedom, and order in the country.
The official from Javier Milei's government, recognized for her role in restoring public order and fighting crime, emphasized that her next political challenge lies in Congress, specifically in the Senate, where she will seek to lead key reforms to consolidate the progress achieved so far by the libertarian administration.

In her statement published on social media, Bullrich stated: “Where the toughest battles are, that's where I'll be putting myself on the line. Where the country we dream of and must build is defended. Where the future is built.”
Bullrich highlighted that the work carried out during her administration made it possible to restore order and enforce the law, and she stressed that the next stage depends on Congress: “There I'll lead the changes the country needs and that depend on Congress, to protect freedom and safeguard all the effort we've made so far.”

Additionally, the official criticized what she described as “useless and corrupt,” referring to Kirchnerism, “destroying everything to return to power” without caring about the people or the country. Bullrich reaffirmed her stance to confront these political forces, emphasizing that her goal is to consolidate a free, orderly, and prosperous country, and she defended the need for firm political decisions to avoid backtracking on the achievements reached.
The new candidate was formally presented within the La Libertad Avanza coalition, led by President Javier Milei, in CABA. In her message, she concluded by appealing to the citizens: “It's time to decide: we build a future or return to failure,” highlighting the importance of the elections as a turning point for the country's direction.
