El Pollo Vignolo canceled his editorial to avoid talking about River's good present

The ESPN host didn't deliver his classic opening editorial on F90 because he considered it unnecessary to clarify that the Millonario is doing well

Like every day,  the F90 program hosted by Sebastián Vignolo on ESPN was going to start with an editorial by the journalist himself, in which he usually offers his perspective on the most prominent topic of the moment, but this time was different.

In general, the Monday opening usually revolves around the most relevant events from the last Argentine football matchday. However, at the start of this week, after River's resounding victory over Vélez by 4 to 1 and Boca's disappointing draw against Tigre, Vignolo surprised with a unusual decision.

Instead of the extensive editorials that usually last five minutes or more, this time the commentator, known for his affinity with Boca, opted for a brief comment that lasted just over half a minute.

In that time, he summarized his thoughts with conviction: "Editorial? It's all been said, it's all been said, I think that... What can be added to what's already being said? What am I going to tell you, that River is back? That's it, you see it, it shines, that's it. Or are you going to keep asking if Gallardo is back? He's back, he's back, and he was back long before you saw it, I saw it as soon as he arrived", he stated emphatically.

Vignolo and his controversy for "inflating" Borja

The criticisms of Pollo also come from overrating the Hummingbird. The journalist tends to overly highlight his performances for the Millionaire, which haven't been the best lately.

In the match against Vélez, the Colombian missed a penalty, and immediately he said: "Wait, wait. What happened? Did he move forward? Again, again", without even watching the replay. Although it was eventually repeated, because indeed the Fortín's goalkeeper moved forward, and Borja ended up scoring, the consistency with which he praises him becomes annoying for the viewers.
