The highly anticipated PowerWash Simulator 2 has been available since October 23 and arrives accompanied by an ambitious roadmap that will extend through 2026. FuturLab studio confirmed that next year will be dedicated exclusively to technical improvements and quality of life, while in 2026, three paid expansions and three free missions will arrive under the name Caldera Chronicles.
The sequel to the successful cleaning simulator will seek to expand its formula with new content inspired by external franchises and a quarterly structure that will keep the game active throughout the year.
Three expansions with franchises and free missions
FuturLab's plan includes three main DLC that will arrive throughout 2026, each inspired by well-known intellectual properties. Although the names of the franchises have not been revealed yet, the community is already speculating about possible collaborations after the crossovers in the first title, which included universes such as Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy VII, SpongeBob SquarePants, Warhammer 40,000, Shrek, and Back to the Future.

In addition, players will receive free content with the Caldera Chronicles, additional missions that will expand the experience at no cost. These tasks will be similar to the Muckingham Files from the original game and will serve to keep the community active between major updates.
2025: a year focused on technical improvements and stability
Before the new content, FuturLab will dedicate all of 2025 to optimizing the gameplay experience. The priority will be to fix bugs, improve performance, and add features that make gameplay easier. As a result, there will be no new DLC during that year, but players will be able to enjoy a smoother and more accessible title.
