The most recent financial disclosure of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, revealed that the "TRUMP HOME" brand is registered in Venezuela for various categories of home products. The information comes from the document submitted to the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) of the United States, which details the president's assets and intellectual property.
According to the disclosure, the brand is registered with the Autonomous Intellectual Property Service (SAPI) of Venezuela and covers different classes of products, including kitchen utensils, tableware, textiles, decorative items, and other household goods. The document identifies several consecutive registrations under the name "TRUMP HOME," all with registered status.

The official documentation does not indicate that the brand is currently commercially exploited within the Venezuelan market nor does it register any income from its use in that country. The inclusion is due to the obligation of high-ranking U.S. officials to declare the intellectual property assets they hold in various jurisdictions, regardless of whether they generate economic activity.
According to the financial disclosure, this is the first time that a registration of the "TRUMP HOME" brand in Venezuela has been recorded. The revelation coincides with a new phase in relations between Washington and Caracas, following the political changes that occurred in the South American country during the first months of 2026 due to the arrest of former drug dictator Nicolás Maduro by the DEA.

The financial report, released on June 29, also shows the breadth of Trump's business portfolio. In addition to his real estate investments and brand licenses in various countries, the document highlights the significant income obtained through projects related to cryptocurrencies, digital assets, and licensing agreements developed by companies in his economic group.
Registered trademarks constitute an intellectual property asset that grants the holder the exclusive right to use a trade name for specific products or services. In many cases, companies register their trademarks in different markets as a way to protect their commercial identity, even if they do not engage in immediate activities in those countries.
The disclosure of the "TRUMP HOME" registration in Venezuela does not imply the start of commercial operations in the country, but it confirms that the U.S. president's brand has legal protection within the Venezuelan intellectual property system for a wide range of products intended for the home.
