President Javier Milei led the presentation of the "Make Argentina Great Again Plan" this Thursday in San Nicolás, an ambitious initiative aimed at boosting economic growth, attracting investment, and essentially transforming the country's productive system.
During the event, held at Sidersa's industrial plant, the president celebrated the inflow of 55 billion dollars in new investment, which he described as the starting point of a new era of prosperity and economic freedom for Argentina.
Accompanied by the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei, the Minister of Deregulation, Federico Sturzenegger, and the local mayor Santiago Passaglia, the head of state stated that the country has begun to regain the world's confidence. In this regard, he highlighted the historic support from the United States announced the previous day, which, as he explained, marks "a foundational milestone" in the bilateral relationship and strengthens Argentina's international integration.

Among the most important announcements, Milei emphasized the agreements reached by YPF and the Italian company ENI to develop a liquefied natural gas megaproject, with an investment estimated at 30 billion dollars over five years, capable of generating annual exports of up to 20 billion dollars.
To this is added the commitment of OpenAI, which will allocate 25 billion dollars to install data centers and technological development in the country, consolidating Argentina as a regional hub in artificial intelligence.
The President chose Sidersa as the venue for the announcement because it is one of the first companies to join the Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI). The company will invest 300 million dollars in a new plant to produce high-quality steel, a key component for national infrastructure development.
During his speech, the president previewed a package of economic, labor, and tax reforms aimed at unleashing the country's productive forces. The first stage aims to benefit more than 500,000 SMEs, reduce the tax burden, and encourage the creation of formal employment in the private sector.

In labor matters, the government will promote changes to provide predictability to companies and encourage formal hiring, putting an end to what Milei called "the labor lawsuit industry." According to his explanation, the new legislation will seek to adapt collective bargaining agreements to the current reality and guarantee "more jobs and better salaries."
In the tax field, the president announced the initiative to eliminate about 20 taxes considered "ridiculous and distortive," with the purpose of simplifying the system and relieving the tax burden on the private sector. "We are here to put an end to this addiction and to simplify, once and for all, our tax system," he stated.
Finally, Milei stated that the Make Argentina Great Again Plan seeks to energize the economy from large investments to small businesses, and he assured that his government is determined to change the country definitively, so that Argentines can once again be protagonists of their own destiny.
