The weekly auction of Consignaciones Córdoba, which takes place every Monday at the Sociedad Rural de Jesús María, Córdoba, serves as a barometer to measure livestock prices in the country's interior.
At the latest event held in northern Córdoba, calf prices dropped by 4%, while steer prices remained at the levels of recent weeks.
According to the organizers and SRJM, in an auction with few animals (751 head, 351 finished cattle and 400 feeder cattle), the lightest and heaviest young steers recorded increases of $20 and $100, reaching maximums of $3,540 and $3,400 respectively.
Meanwhile, the intermediate category remained at $3,420.

According to the portal Agroverdad, regarding females, heifer prices held at $3,480, while good cow prices rose by $200 and were auctioned at $2,900.
