Córdoba's budget allocated an appropriation of 870 million pesos for protocol expenses under the concept of courtesy and tribute for 2026. This multimillion-figure covers the entire central administration and includes the purchase of commemorative plaques and official catering services. The budget program details the destination of the funds that taxpayers pay to support these institutional actions.
The provincial Legislature leads the ranking of expenditures with an allocated amount of 506.2 million pesos to support these public actions. This figure represents a 50% increase compared to the previous year to guarantee the distribution of flags and the holding of various receptions. The legislative spending is concentrated on invoices for tributes and cocktails in addition to the acquisition of medals and trophies from regular suppliers.
The most expensive expenditures correspond to the purchase of ceremonial and hoisting flags that required more than 120 million pesos during 2025. The suppliers of these items are constantly repeated in the invoices that include everything from protocol gifts to formal dinners. The Unicameral thus consolidates its position as the institution that allocates the most resources to the celebration of tributes within the province.

Breakdown by ministries and areas
The ministries of the Executive Branch also have their own appropriations for distinctions that add up to more than 360 million pesos in total. The Ministry of Community Liaison has 111 million pesos to execute expenses related to the delivery of gifts and awards. This portfolio is the one that has the largest allocation of resources for courtesy within the central administration outside the legislative branch.
The Security portfolio has a budget of 80.9 million pesos for courtesy, while Economy has 33.8 million pesos allocated. The Ministry of Justice has funds of 27.3 million pesos and the Health area has 22.9 million pesos to carry out its official events. These appropriations make it possible to finance institutional activities that require the delivery of commemorative objects or food services.

The Ministry of Cooperatives and Mutuals received an allocation of 20 million pesos to cover its protocol needs throughout this year. The Bioagroindustry and Social Development portfolios have smaller appropriations that do not exceed 7.4 million pesos for these public purposes.
