The latest report from the National Meteorological Service (SMN) estimates that a hot summer with scarce rainfall is coming to Córdoba.
The latest quarterly climate forecast covers the last month of 2025 and the first two months of 2026.
This way, compared to the previous report, for the December-January-February period, rainfall projections remain and could be below normal in the province.
Meanwhile, regarding temperatures, a hot summer is expected in much of the country and particularly in Córdoba's territory with above-normal levels.
These forecasts would occur in the context of an already established “La Niña” phenomenon in this region, with a 69% probability in January and decreasing intensity starting in February, according to a recent report from the Agricultural Risk Office (ORA).
