Through a message posted on his Instagram stories, Cipolla announced that he had decided to step away from the defense. He indicated that the San Isidro court had informed him of a personal conflict related to himself.
"In order to preserve transparency, objectivity, and the proper development of the process, I consider this decision to be the most appropriate," he wrote. He also clarified that his departure was not due to other reasons.

In a conversation with TN Show, Cipolla reaffirmed his position and was emphatic. "My opinion in the media will not be silenced by prosecutors, judges, or intermediaries aligned with those in power," he warned.
