A Republican congresswoman wants to put Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom on trial in the US
Republican Representative Nancy Mace stated that she will seek to have the British prince tried for crimes in the United States
Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace publicly called for Prince Andrew of the United Kingdom to be prosecuted in the United States for "any and all possible crimes" related to the Jeffrey Epstein case.
Her statement came hours after the release of more than 33,000 pages of declassified documents by the House Oversight Committee regarding the sex trafficking network of millionaire Epstein, who died in 2019.
Mace, a representative from South Carolina and current gubernatorial candidate, expressed her outrage on social media against the British prince:
"A cold, dark cell. Prince Andrew in handcuffs. It sends the right message."

The congresswoman also participated in a closed-door session with Epstein's victims at the Capitol, but left visibly shaken. She later revealed that she suffered a panic attack during the hearing:
"As a recent survivor, it was very difficult for me to listen to their stories. Sweating. Hyperventilating. Tremors. I couldn't breathe."
Mace reiterated her demand on her official Congressional account:
"When are we going to prosecute Prince Andrew for crimes committed on U.S. soil? It seems like the next logical step."
Prince Andrew was publicly linked to the case in 2011, when Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein survivor, accused him of abusing her when she was 17 years old, after being trafficked by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Although Andrew denied having committed abuse, in 2022 he reached an out-of-court settlement with Giuffre for an undisclosed sum, without admitting guilt.

Tragically, Giuffre died by "suicide" in April 2025 at the age of 41. Her family spoke on her behalf during a press conference organized by Congressmen Thomas Massie (Republican-Kentucky) and Ro Khanna (Democrat-California), along with other Epstein victims.
Her brother, Sky Roberts, said:
"Virginia fought for the truth and to expose a system that allowed the powerful to abuse without consequences. She never gave up, even when the world tried to break her."
Several victims, including model Lisa Phillips and Anouska De Georgiou, stated that they plan to compile their own list of Epstein's clients, asserting that many were abused by specific individuals who traveled on the millionaire's famous private plane, known as the "Lolita Express." Phillips indicated that a friend of hers was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew on Epstein's orders.
The survivors also expressed their outrage over the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell is serving her sentence in a low-security prison, which they described as a "vacation camp." De Georgiou said that pardoning Maxwell would be "one of her worst nightmares."

Meanwhile, the release of documents was driven by public pressure and from members of Congress, including figures from the MAGA movement such as Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace herself. Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (Republican-Florida) also stated:
"This is much bigger than anyone anticipated. There are rich and powerful people who must go to prison."
Prince Andrew's case has returned to the center of public debate following Giuffre's death and the massive publication of documents. Although he has denied the allegations, his constant refusal to cooperate with U.S. authorities, despite promising to collaborate in 2019, has increased calls for him to be compelled to testify or face charges if the crimes occurred on U.S. soil.
