Roberto Piazza tore into Lali Espósito and María Becerra: 'They're idiots'

Roberto Piazza criticized Lali Espósito and María Becerra, called them 'imbeciles,' and defended Javier Milei

Roberto Piazza didn't hold back when talking about young artists. In an interview with Puro Show (El Trece), he was blunt: "All of them are awful, with awful taste and awful music". He also stated that reggaeton gives him an allergy.

The designer also linked urban music to a supposed cultural decline: "Here in Argentina, reggaeton and bad taste are established". In that vein, he said the country is immersed in "mediocrity, populism, and Kirchnerism."

Piazza defended Milei and attacked Lali and Becerra

Asked about the clashes between President Javier Milei and the singers, Piazza sided with the president. "I'm friends with Javier and I know his thoughts". He downplayed the artists' criticisms: "He doesn't care much about them."

However, the designer doubled down and harshly stated: "They're idiots, I detest them". He also claimed that many figures in the entertainment industry used to remain silent to avoid losing privileges.

Piazza also referred to the nicknames the president allegedly gave the singers. "Lali Deposit or Thief Deposit" and "Becerra, BCRA" (in reference to the Central Bank).

For the designer, both artists were "supported by Kirchnerism" with state money. He also asserted that many of them worked with everyone's tax money.
