A congresswoman from Salta is campaigning by offering free healthcare services to Bolivians.

In the midst of the electoral campaign, a Kirchnerist deputy traveled to Bolivia and promised free services in exchange for votes

Provincial Deputy Carolina Ceaglio, an ultra-Kirchnerist, who seeks to renew her seat in the upcoming elections in Salta, promoted in Bolivian media the free healthcare in Salta hospitals, access to educational programs, and the possibility of carrying out various procedures from her offices in Orán, in contradiction with the current health policy in Salta.

From the Bolivian city of Bermejo, Ceaglio, who is a candidate in the elections on May 11, led a reprehensible electoral campaign. In interviews with Bolivian media, she offered health, education, and assistance in administrative procedures for Bolivian citizens, despite the restrictions that currently require foreigners to pay for care in Salta's public hospitals.

The deputy stated that "Bolivian brothers will also be able to access" equipment like the new MRI being installed at San Vicente de Paúl Hospital in Orán, and emphasized that her office at 20 de Febrero Street 160 remains open for those needing support with administrative procedures.

The administration of Gustavo Sáenz, in recent times, has maintained a policy of limiting healthcare spending for foreigners to invest those resources in purchasing ambulances and hospital modernization for Argentine citizens, who are the ones paying taxes.

However, Ceaglio deviated from that line by promising that "Bolivian brothers will also be able to access the benefits", like the MRI at San Vicente de Paúl Hospital.

"For three and a half years, we've been touring the Orán department. We are provincial deputies and work a lot in health and education," stated Carolina Ceaglio, so that "those who visit us also feel safe, accompanied, and cared for".

Ceaglio requested the support of the electorate, possibly also appealing to Bolivian citizens with dual nationality who vote in Argentina, with a direct call to vote for the Igualar list (236).

Ceaglio's appearance in Bolivian media did not go unnoticed and caused a strong controversy by offering free public services to foreign citizens, paid for by Argentines, in exchange for votes, especially in the midst of an electoral campaign.
