Santiago del Moro defended Morena Rial and unleashed a wave of criticism on social media.
The host of Gran Hermano replied live to a comment by analyst Gastón Trezeguet about Jorge Rial's daughter
The renowned host ofGran Hermano (Telefe), Santiago del Moro, became the center of controversy after defending Morena Rial during the program's broadcast. His intervention caused a strong reaction on social media, where users harshly criticized him.
During the reality show's broadcast, the participants had to perform a choreography to the song "Abracadabra" by Lady Gaga. As usual, the presentation was evaluated by the public through a poll on Instagram, where followers voted on whether the contestants had met the challenge.
The comparison by Gastón Trezeguet that started it all
After obtaining more than 50% of the votes in favor, the participants won professional equipment for a gym inside the house. However, the moment of celebration was overshadowed when the program's analysts began to give their opinions on the performance.

In this context, Gastón Trezeguet made a comment that sparked controversy. "It looked like More Rial's umbanda party... sorry, but it looked like a very strange gathering," the analyst expressed jokingly.
It should be remembered that Morena Rial was recently involved in a judicial scandal after being detained for a week in Villa Adelina, San Isidro, for her alleged involvement in a robbery. After obtaining release, she decided to be baptized in the umbanda religion, which led to Trezeguet's comparison.
Santiago del Moro's defense and the public's reaction
In response to Trezeguet's comment, Santiago del Moro interrupted and asked him to avoid referring to Morena Rial in that way. "Don't mess with More, please. More respect," the host requested, clearly disagreeing with the comparison.

However, this intervention by Del Moro was not well received on social media. Many users accused him of "defending a criminal" and began to speculate about his motives. Some of the most viral comments included:
- "Del Morbo defending a thief... just what I was missing."
- "Del Moro is afraid, who knows what secrets Rial might know about him."
- "Defends a criminal... hahaha."
Finally, Ceferino Reato intervened in the debate to defuse the tension and refocused on the dance performance. "I watched the original choreography several times. Lady Gaga is so extraordinarily authentic that everything seems minor... but I liked the effort," the journalist commented, closing the tense moment in the studio.
