After almost three months of recovery, finally Cristian "Cuti" Romero returned to the field in Tottenham's 2-2 draw against Bournemouth. The defender had been out since December 8, when he suffered a tear in the match against Enzo Fernández's Chelsea.
"Cuti" was out for 91 days due to his muscle injury and, after overcoming it, he returned to be part of the starting XI led by Ange Postecoglou, even wearing the captain's armband. Having been out for so long, his performance wasn't the best, featuring in a play that could have ended in a blooper, and he didn't play the full 90 minutes, being replaced at the 61st by Micky van de Ven.

The match started with a partial victory for the visitors with goals from Tavenier at 42 and Evanilson at 65. Quickly, the Spurs were able to cut the deficit with a goal from Sarr at 67 and, near the end of the match, at 84, the Korean Son would score from the penalty spot to tie the game. With this draw, Tottenham is in thirteenth place in the Premier League with 34 points, far from the qualifying spots for international cups and with a present that is not very encouraging.
