The Civil and Commercial Court of the 52nd Nomination of Córdoba set an extension for those affected by fraud in the delivery of homes by the firm Márquez & Asociados.
The creditors in the case against the aforementioned company will have a new deadline to appear before the court for the verification of claims in the bankruptcy proceedings.
Judge Sergio Ruiz granted the extension after a request from the collegiate receivership due to the high number of applications submitted.

The situation caused issues with the issuance of the user credential and password that allow access to the system implemented by the receivership to submit the verification of claims.
The members of Márquez & Asociados are accused of promising the construction of "turnkey homes" (meaning the buyer was supposed to receive a fully finished property, ready to move in, with no need for renovations or additional work) without fulfilling their promise.
