The world of entertainment and business was shaken after the arrest of Elías Piccirillo, husband of the model and host Jésica Cirio. The businessman was arrested by the Argentine Naval Prefecture under serious accusations of fraud and theft, plunging him into a complicated legal situation.
Piccirillo's capture took place at his house in Nordelta following a court order. During the operation, simultaneous raids were conducted that led to the arrest of eight officers of the Buenos Aires City Police and a former member of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA), all allegedly involved in the criminal scheme.
According to TN reports, Piccirillo allegedly fabricated a false case around a six-million-dollar debt. This investigation was triggered in January after the arrest of financier Francisco Hauque, who pointed to him as the mastermind of a fraudulent operation.
The connection with Jésica Cirio and the possible raid
The scandal not only involves the businessman but also implicates his wife, Jésica Cirio. According to journalist Marina Calabró, there is a formal request for the Justice to investigate the model's role in this case. "If the Justice proceeds with the measure, Cirio will have to provide explanations," she warned on the program Lape Club Social of América TV.
