The host of Mujeres Argentinas confronted her team live after a tense exchange with Pampita's ex-husband

During the latest broadcast of Mujeres argentinas (El Trece), María Belén Ludueña experienced one of the most uncomfortable moments on air when her panelists had a heated exchange with Roberto García Moritán, businessman and ex-partner of Pampita.

The conflict erupted when Evelyn Von Brocke confronted the guest live, insinuating that he acknowledge an alleged infidelity. Amalia Díaz Guiñazú joined the attack, which immediately created tension in the studio. The host, visibly affected, was forced to intervene.

Did the panelists betray Ludueña?

On the verge of tears, Ludueña publicly apologized to García Moritán. She appeared upset by the hostile tone of the exchange and distanced herself from what happened. "I set the limits because I brought the interview," she stated in a firm response.

The host defended the program's approach and indicated that she was not willing to allow such situations to be repeated. "This program doesn't aim to destroy anyone. It's not for that," she asserted before going to a commercial break.

She also criticized her colleagues' attitude for airing "dirty laundry" during the interview. "I have codes. I don't like these things happening with someone who comes out of trust," she remarked.

It was revealed that there had been a production meeting before the program where the host instructed her panelists and they had agreed on the direction of the interview. What aired made it clear that the request was not fulfilled.

García Moritán's reaction to the tension

Meanwhile, Roberto García Moritán was understanding with Ludueña. He thanked her for her attitude and acknowledged her sensitivity. "That speaks to the quality of person you are," he noted. He also reflected on the importance of not projecting personal experiences onto others.

He asked to avoid easy judgment on past situations and valued Pope Francis's teachings on empathy and respect. He also highlighted that many families go through difficult times and that it's not appropriate to use them as a weapon in a public debate.

At the end of the tense segment, Ludueña again apologized to the interviewee and his family, emphasizing a lesson from her father: "Dirty laundry is washed at home". Then, the program continued after a mandatory pause.
