The journalist denied the romance, spoke with Brancatelli's wife, and hired a lawyer for fear of a digital attack

Journalist Luciana Elbusto, involved in an alleged leak of chats with Diego Brancatelli, broke her silence and categorically denied the rumors. In a conversation with Paparazzi, she stated: "Obviously they're not real, it's a lie," and revealed that she has already taken legal action.

The communicator expressed her concern about the magnitude of the case and explained that she decided to delegate the situation to a specialist. "I put everything in the hands of Juan Pablo Fioribello's firm, because they handle the best in intelligence and security," she indicated.

According to her account, the episode caused fear for her digital privacy: "I feel like I've been hacked. For a moment, I lost accounts of things." Additionally, she emphasized that her priority is "to protect myself, my family, and my people."

Regarding the motivation behind the maneuver, she speculated that "maybe it's to hit Diego Brancatelli, with whom I do have a friendship, but nothing more than that." She flatly dismissed any kind of romantic relationship with the journalist.

The reaction upon finding out: "They wrote to me and I didn't understand anything"

The first indication of the controversy came while she was working for the magazine Paparazzi. "I was writing some notes and Ángel de Brito wrote to me: 'Hello, what's up with Branca's chats?'" she recalled. At that moment, she thought it was about the "I Want to Be" section she does with the magazine's team.

The confusion cleared up when a producer from her other job, at Canal Net, shared a Twitter link with her: "I try to enter and I can't, they had hacked my Twitter too." The situation became more serious upon seeing the content: "I don't even want to repeat the nonsense that conversation said. When I started reading, I said: this is madness."

The conversation with Brancatelli and contact with his wife

Once she learned about the scandal, she contacted Brancatelli directly. "I told him: 'Look, I hired a lawyer, I don't know what this is, but I'm protecting myself,'" she assured. According to her account, he was also aware and was considering similar measures. The conversation was brief, and they haven't spoken since.

However, she highlighted a gesture that reassured her: "I spoke with his wife, Cecilia Insigna, and honestly, she was great. She put me at ease." She emphasized that there is a transparent and known bond between them: "They posted photos when we go to the stadium, and his wife knows we go."

"I'm not used to this"

Visibly affected, the journalist stressed that this type of media exposure is not part of her daily life. "Maybe they're used to going through all this, I'm not," she confessed, hinting at the emotional impact the episode had on her.

Finally, she reiterated that she has nothing to hide and that her only goal is to clarify the situation. "Simply that," she concluded, trying to put an end to a controversy that erupted on social media and still generates repercussions.
