The militant of “Enough is Enough” snatched the cell phone and returned it after pressure from witnesses.

A left-wing thug tried to steal the cell phone of a student of the liberal group Somos Libres at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the UBA.
The incident occurred inside the property, where the aggressor snatched her device and then sought refuge among militants of “Ya Basta”, the space linked to Manuela Castañeira.
The episode occurred just one day after the national government ordered theUBA to guarantee order and security within the faculty, following a series of attacks against students who were trying to participate and oversee the elections of the student center.
However, the situation changed when footage of the episode began to circulate and more libertarian students were present, which increased pressure on the aggressor. Faced with that scenario, he finally ended up giving way and returning the phone to the victim
.
The episode adds to a series of situations of harassment that Somos Libres students have been denouncing within the faculty, in an increasingly tense climate where political participation is conditioned by left-wing sectors that claim to own the faculty.
As a recent precedent, in early April, left-wing militants broke into a Constitutional Law class held by professor Darío Luna at the same faculty and prevented a chair with legislators from La Libertad Avanza, shouting and without the authorities
adopting sanctions.
The Government had already ordered the UBA to guarantee the order
One day before this new event, the national Government, through the Undersecretary of University Policies Alejandro “El Profe” Álvarez, had sent a formal note to the UBA authorities demanding that the safety of students and the normal institutional functioning of the Faculty of Social Sciences
be guaranteed.
The intimidation came after the spread of attacks by left-wing groups against young liberals who were trying to control the elections of the student center, amid complaints of pushing, shouting and attempts to prevent them from entering the establishment.
The statement issued by the Undersecretary of Universities of Milei.
From Nación, it was emphasized that university authorities have a direct responsibility to prevent violence, intimidation and censorship from being established as common practices within the academic environment
.
In addition, a detailed report was requested on the facts and measures adopted, including possible sanctions, with the objective of establishing responsibilities and preventing this type of situation from being repeated within a public university.
