The preview showcased a carefully crafted artistic direction and great fidelity to the dark and challenging atmosphere that characterizes the original title.
The story behind Sekiro: No Defeat
The anime will bring the action to 16th-century Japan, a time of conflict and power struggles between clans. The protagonist, known as Wolf, is a shinobi who must protect and rescue his young lord amid lethal battles against powerful enemies.

The adaptation will maintain the main elements of the video game, although it promises a renewed perspective with a cinematic focus on the action sequences and settings.
A high-level creative team
The series will be directed by Kenichi Kutsuna, who is making his directorial debut after having worked on projects such as Naruto: Shippuden and One-Punch Man. He is joined by Takuya Sato as the scriptwriter and Takahiro Kishida as the character designer.
In the visual department, Yuji Kaneko participates as art director, Azusa Sasaki in color design, and Keisuke Nozawa in photography. The music will be composed by Shuta Hasunuma, while Yasushi Nagura will supervise the sound.
Confirmed voice cast

Among the confirmed voice actors, Daisuke Namikawa (Bleach, One Piece) stands out as Wolf. Miyuki Sato will play Kuro, and Kenjiro Tsuda will bring Genichiro Ashina, one of the main antagonists, to life.
The producers revealed that more cast members will be announced in the coming months.
