From her Instagram account @martutorre, the influencer who advises thousands of users posted a video that went viral. There, she evaluated each store based on her personal experience.
According to her ranking, the order was as follows:
- 1st place: Amazon
- 2nd place: Shein
- 3rd place: AliExpress
- 4th place: Temu
Temu: is it worth it or is it risky?
The influencer was direct: Temu doesn't inspire her confidence. She mentioned lawsuits for data theft in the United States and recommended not using a credit card in the app.
She advises paying with PayPal if you decide to shop there. She also pointed out that the app is in a testing phase and most of the products offered are "viral trinkets".
AliExpress: absolute variety, but with complicated shipping
AliExpress ranked third despite being the influencer's favorite. She explained that the shipping system is more complex, since each seller ships separately.
She highlighted that it's ideal for finding Zara dupes and all kinds of products, but that today it's not the most practical for Argentina.
Shein: more variety, although costs have increased
Shein came in second. The influencer valued its wide catalog and the possibility of buying everything from clothing to electronics, including home goods.
However, she mentioned that the new courier system has made orders more expensive, although it's still more affordable than shopping in the country.
Amazon: the best option for safe shopping from Argentina
Amazon was chosen as the best store for shopping from Argentina. The influencer emphasized that it has more experience and a better customer service system.
She highlighted her positive experience buying kitchen and electronics products, and stated that it's the most reliable. She doesn't use it to buy clothing, since she finds it very expensive in that category.
