The Quilmes prosecutor's office requested to bring the case of aggravated sexual abuse against Alejandro Cerviño to trial
Quilmes's justice took a key step in a case that shocked due to its brutality. The prosecution requested the trial elevation against the driver Alejandro Daniel Cerviño, better known as Pollo Cerviño, accused of sexually abusing his own son when he was just five years old.
The investigated events allegedly occurred between 2017 and early 2020, and were reported that same year. The Functional Instruction Unit No. 8, led by prosecutor Bárbara Velasco, considered the evidence collection phase concluded and requested to move forward to the oral trial.
Repeated and aggravated abuse by the relationship
The charge against Cerviño is for "seriously outrageous sexual abuse in real competition with sexual abuse with carnal access, aggravated by the relationship", an extremely serious criminal classification. The victim was his son B., born in December 2014, who was five years old at the time of the alleged attacks.
According to the file, the abuses allegedly occurred repeatedly in a house located on Almafuerte Street, in Bernal. The accused was informed of the charges but decided not to testify, following his defense's recommendations.
The gathered evidence includes testimonies, psychological and psychiatric reports, a legal medical examination, WhatsApp conversation records, and statements under the Gesell Chamber modality. Expert reports from specialized professionals were also added.
A case that resonates amid public allegations
The case gained greater notoriety after journalist Viviana Canosa mentioned on her networks the existence of an alleged pedophilia network linked to public figures. Although there is no direct judicial connection, the mention stirred the debate around child abuse within trusted environments.
The Cerviño case is moving firmly toward trial, and the accumulated evidence could be decisive for the upcoming process. Meanwhile, the accused remains free, awaiting the decision of the competent court.
