Lizy Tagliani defended herself against Canosa's accusations: 'I was never with a minor'
The comedian assured that she won't let her honor be tarnished with false accusations
Lizy Tagliani spoke out this Monday morning to publicly defend herself against the strong accusations made by journalist Viviana Canosa on her show Viviana en vivo."What is happening to me is a lie. I have never in my life touched a minor, that never happened and I won't stop until the truth is known", she declared on Radio Pop 101.5 with visible indignation.
"I hold my head high, I'm more confident than ever. They will have to prove all the crimes I'm accused of one by one and I will go as far as I have to go" Tagliani continued saying.
"I only tell you, both to the people who trust me and who know or at least sense that I'm an honest woman, I give you my word of honor, that this will be clarified and I won't stop and I will go as far as I have to go to solve this" she added.

In recent days, an intense media controversy broke out after Canosa, during the broadcast of her show, insinuated the alleged involvement of the comedian in cases of abuse and trafficking of minors. The statements caused a great stir on social media and in the entertainment field, provoking an immediate response from the host of "La Peña de Morfi."
"What they say about me is a lie. I have never been with a minor nor have I been part of any pedophilia network", Lizy emphasized in her statement. Visibly upset by the accusation, she announced that she will take the case through the judicial route: "I will solve it in the justice system to the last instance that the Argentine Republic gives me. And if necessary, I will go to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights".

The public accusation also touched on a very personal topic, which is the recent adoption of the host's son. In response to this, the comedian was blunt: "If you know that I'm capable of sleeping with a kid, you have to come out and say, don't give him to her, because she's a pedophile. You shouldn't say it now."
