Team Cherry officially confirmed that Hollow Knight: Silksong, one of the most anticipated titles of the last decade, will arrive on the market before this Christmas.

A long road of waiting and theories
Originally announced in 2019, Silksong sparked enormous anticipation from the very beginning. It was Matthew Griffin, Team Cherry's marketing manager, who cleared up the doubts via Discord. There, he assured that the release will be "before Christmas 2025." The statement was enough to rekindle the excitement. "After so long, having hope again feels almost unreal," a fan expressed on X (formerly Twitter).
Multiplatform release: an inclusive bet
Another aspect that added points to the studio's strategy was the confirmation of the release on multiple platforms. Silksong will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. This decision, contrary to the increasingly frequent exclusivities, was celebrated as a commitment to inclusion.

"We want as many people as possible to be able to play Silksong," the studio explained in a previous response. The kingdom of Pharloom, the setting for this new installment, is thus preparing to welcome players from all over the world and on every device.
