The Slovenian with a criminal record ended his career a week after the scandal in the World Cup final. The IFFHS recognized him as the best referee of the tournament, and the Italian Association also awarded him

Just a week after the World Cup Final held on July 19, the Slovenian Football Federation announced that Slavko Vinčić, aged 46, has ended his professional career at the peak of this sport.

Far from facing an investigation for his scandalous performance, the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) bizarrely recognized him as the best referee of the World Cup, also awarding him the 'Giulio Campanati' prize from the Italian Association of Referees (AIA).

This "glorious" retirement aims to conceal a record and statistics that cry out to the heavens:

Criminal record: In 2020, Vinčić was arrested in a police raid linked to a scheme of "prostitution, drugs, and weapons", where he attempted to escape on a boat.

The statistics of the plunder: Spain never lost a match officiated by him (6 unbeaten matches), while the only 2 defeats of the Scaloni era in World Cups occurred under his refereeing: against Saudi Arabia in 2022 and the final of 2026.

Double standard in the final: Under his command, Spain committed 16 fouls (or 19, according to other records) and ended with zero yellow cards. In contrast, Argentina suffered 5 yellow cards and the expulsion of Enzo Fernández after an "outrageous yellow" for protesting.

In a definition marked by the corruption of the desks, the Argentine National Team was harmed by a trap designed by UEFA, whose president, Aleksander Čeferin, directly threatened Gianni Infantino with displacing him from FIFA if Argentina were to be crowned champions again.

To secure his reelection at the 2027 Morocco Congress, Infantino allegedly sacrificed the national team, allowing the final to be in the hands of a completely Slovenian refereeing team, compatriots of Čeferin.

While "Dibu" Martínez was practically single-handedly supporting the Team with a historic performance of 11 saves —an absolute record in finals since 1966—, Vinčić's refereeing allowed figures like Marc Cucurella to verbally assault Messi without even receiving a review from VAR, overseen by the German Bastian Dankert.

This sporting attack was the executing arm of a larger offensive. The SIDE had already alerted in 2025 about the existence of a Russian disinformation network linked to "The Company", which, through bots and betting houses, manipulated the algorithm of X to label Argentines as "racists" and justify global harassment. This campaign was internally validated by the kirchnerist caste and its media terminals, who, as denounced by Agustín Laje, fostered hatred against the national team to please the "woke agenda".

In the face of mockery from foreign students who, while enjoying free education at UBA, celebrated the plunder suffered by the Team and insulted the "Malvinas Cause", the Argentine people have said enough. The retirement of Slavko Vinčić is nothing more than the flight of a system that, although it tries to disguise theft as an award, cannot erase the pride of a Nation that, under the leadership of the ideas of freedom, has decided not to kneel again before the international mafia.
