The wave of video game leaks has hit the industry hard again, and now it’s Subnautica 2's turn. Just days before its early access launch, images began circulating that would show the game running on PC ahead of schedule.
The situation comes just days after the cases of Forza Horizon 6 and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, two titles that also appeared playable before their official releases due to still unclear errors.

The images began to spread on Reddit after a supposed user streamed gameplay of the game for several hours. Although the material was quickly removed, several users managed to save screenshots and fragments of the stream.
The leaked content shows a tour of an initial area of the underwater map and also part of the graphics menu for the PC version.
Among the visible options are:
Resolution and window mode settings
Advanced graphics settings
Visual scaling options
Interface adapted for keyboard and mouse

So far, neither Krafton nor Unknown Worlds have officially confirmed the authenticity of the leaked material.
