Strong internal unrest broke out at El Trece after the departure of four members of one of the channel's shows became known. The decision was reportedly made without prior notice and caused surprise among those affected.

What happened to the flight attendants on Guido Kaczka's show

According to what was said on air, the four dismissed women were flight attendants on the show hosted by Guido Kaczka. The production team had reportedly decided not to continue with them as part of an internal restructuring.

The news hit like a bucket of cold water, since the young women expected to remain on the show during this new stage on El Trece's screen.

The version given on LAM

On LAM, Pepe Ochoa explained that the flight attendants' contracts had ended in December. At that time, according to his account, they had reportedly been promised a new contract for February.

"They were told to stay calm, that they were going to continue", the panelist said, highlighting the contrast with the final decision that left them out.

Who the four dismissed members are

After the riddle segment unfolded, Ochoa revealed the names of those affected. They are Candela, Stefanía, Mar, and a fourth colleague who was also part of the staff.

The group had started out as seven members on the show The Balls, but as time went by there were four left.

Candela "Pampa" Díaz's response

After the information became public, Candela "Pampa" Díaz spoke out on social media with a video full of anguish. There she said that she found out about the decision in an unexpected way.

"I was turning down offers because I thought I was going back to the show," she explained. According to what she was told, the new format would not need so many flight attendants.

The young woman emphasized the emotional value of the experience and the pain of not having had closure. "It was beautiful while it lasted, but this was not how I wanted it to end," she said through tears.

A clarification from people close to the show

In order to ease the tension, the panel of LAM clarified that the replacement of flight attendants is not something new and that it tends to be repeated every year. However, the anger is focused on the lack of prior notice and on the expectations that had been caused behind the scenes.
