Leftists' tears: environmentalists in Córdoba are crying over the removed tree
Progress prevailed, and on Tuesday, the court ordered the removal of a quebracho tree for the development of a key road
Progress prevailed and Córdoba's environmentalists are in tears.
Finally, the courts set things straight, prioritizing motorists' safety, and the famous quebracho tree on Padre Luchesse Avenue was removed.

This way, work will continue without issues to widen a strategic road that connects Sierras Chicas with Córdoba's capital.
It is worth noting that the exit of this route leads to Ambrosio Taravella International Airport, industrial parks, and dozens of industries, among other important locations.
None of this mattered to the environmentalists, who in their delusion believed they owned the tree, the road, and everything nearby.

Fortunately, the courts did what needed to be done. With the help of the police, the protesters were removed so the workers could do their job.
There was even one person arrested.
The case of the removed tree in Córdoba
Ignoring the advice of experts, environmentalists strongly opposed the felling of a quebracho tree that was right in the middle of the road.
The delusion led these individuals to camp out, and one even chained himself to the tree.
Córdoba analyst and political scientist Javier Boher made it very clear in a text.

"The environmentalists' claim is related to a progressive worldview in which the term progress seems to have disappeared. That way of understanding things seems to defend the life of a single tree more than that of all the potential drivers and passengers who travel through there," he wrote in Diario Alfil.
"In order to think about how the wood resulting from the felling of the tree can be used in a sustainable way and with a positive impact on society, I decided to look for possible uses that would reassure those beautiful progressive souls who suffer from the destruction of our environment," he added.
"How can we make sure that little hippie heart doesn't have any more holes?" Boher asked.
"A good option would be to use it to make biodegradable toothbrushes as a way to promote conscious and environmentally friendly dental hygiene. Another option could be to make planks to help build those precarious social shelters that under any other circumstances would be considered a shack, but when adorned with the rhetoric of helping others from the well-known NGO, serve to ease class guilt."
"Given all the talk about the lack of investment in education and the possible interruption of Comprehensive Sex Education (due to the arrival of the conservative approach of the murderous neoliberal right currently in power), it occurred to me that maybe with that wood a good number of wooden penises could be made; if not the 10,000 ordered by the Ministry of Health during Minister Vizzotti's tenure, at least a couple dozen of them," he concluded.
"Great Caravan for the Quebracho"
Environmentalists will hold a march this Wednesday to continue protesting for the quebracho tree that was moved to another location.
