Engineer Fernando Boiero began his career in the private sector during the 2001 crisis after graduating from a technical school in Villa María. At just 19 years old, he took advantage of the Primer Paso Program to enter a systems company and finance his higher undergraduate studies. His perseverance allowed him to rise to managerial positions in the corporate sphere before he decided to found his own technology venture.
The firm Xcapit was born in 2018 as a result of Boiero's vision of the potential of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence. This private project was consolidated thanks to the innovation ecosystem that the provincial interior offers to local software developers. "I entered that field and I began to understand from where it was possible to innovate; I learned things that still serve me today", he recalled.
The master's degree holder in cyber defense,a specialist in computer security and systems engineering, managed to employ 41 highly qualified collaborators in his structure. His company develops solutions that improve efficiency in the financial and governmental sectors through modern processes of comprehensive reengineering. "One of the pillars of our work is to generate high-impact solutions, since we work with international entities such as Unicef, UNDP, and IDB", he emphasized.

Private investment and Córdoba talent for export
The company led by Boiero demonstrates that individual effort is the main engine for generating wealth and genuine employment in the country. Xcapit is positioning itself as a key piece in the tokenization of environmental assets and the optimization of processes through the use of smart networks. The cofounder values the competitiveness of local talent in scaling digital solutions to complex markets throughout Latin America and the world.
In partnership with academic sectors, the firm is promoting the Blockchain Lab to develop pioneering models of distributed generation of renewable energy. This entrepreneur's success underscores the importance of having clear rules that allow the private sector to lead the national economic transformation. "Our province has an ecosystem that is years ahead of other provinces and other regions of Latin American countries", Boiero stated with pride.
The purpose of the company from Córdoba is to promote transparency and financial inclusion through tools that dispense with inefficient state bureaucracy. At 45 years old and with two decades of teaching at UTN, Fernando represents the model of a citizen who is committed to investment and growth. His life story confirms that private initiative is the only real way to overcome critical contexts and achieve full professional excellence.
