Telefe imposes strict clauses on its hosts following media scandals

Telefe made a drastic decision regarding its hosts and television figures. According to journalist Marina Calabró, the channel included new contractual clauses focused on "reputation and public image." This measure replied to scandals involving personalities like Jey Mammón, Marley, and Jésica Cirio, creating an image crisis for the network.

According to the revealed document, those contracted must refrain from engaging in behaviors or making statements that could damage their reputation, that of the program they participate in, or the Telefe brand. This includes social media posts and any media outlet. Additionally, they are required to maintain an orderly private life, away from acts that violate morality, good customs, or could be considered illegal.

Success of Big Brother and figures under observation

Calabró also revealed shocking data about Big Brother 2024's revenue. So far, the reality show has caused 33 million dollars just from advertising slots, not counting additional income from PNT or QR code voting. These numbers confirm that it remains the most profitable program on the channel.

Meanwhile, the case of Wanda Nara is one that Telefe is closely monitoring. Her public conflicts with her ex-partner, Mauro Icardi, have caused controversy, and it has been reported that the host might be "frozen" by the network due to this situation.

With these measures, Telefe seeks to protect its image and that of its advertisers, setting a precedent in the television industry regarding the control of its figures' reputation.
