The official report indicated that eleven of the sectors analyzed showed improvements in the year-on-year comparison during the last month of the year. Among them, the greatest boost came from the Agriculture, livestock, hunting, and forestry sector, which recorded a 32.2% increase compared with December 2024.

This result was driven by a record wheat harvest, both in volume and in average yield, exceeding by 50% the average recorded in the last five seasons.
The performance of the agricultural sector was decisive in the overall result of the indicator, becoming the main engine of growth. In second place was Financial intermediation, which experienced a 14.1% year-on-year increase. Both sectors together contributed 2.4 percentage points to the total growth reflected by EMAE, consolidating their central role in the economic recovery.
Looking ahead, projections for the Argentine economy in 2026 point to significant growth, with the IMF and other institutions estimating a GDP increase of around 4%. This expansion would place the country among the fastest-growing economies globally, surpassing the global and regional averages.

These figures are based on greater macroeconomic stability, progress in Milei's Government structural reforms, and a reduction in political uncertainty after the recent legislative elections. In addition, Argentina is expected to be one of the best-performing economies within the G20 during that year.
With the annual result of 4.4% economic growth and the rebound recorded in the last month of the year, the indicator reflects an improvement in the level of activity after a period marked by the "kuka risk" and electoral volatility.
