The surprising peace between Iran and Israel, announced by President Donald Trump on June 23, not only shook international politics but also social media.

Despite previous doubts and criticism, the Republican president achieved a new milestone: stopping a war between two of the main players in the Middle East. As expected, the Internet reacted with a flood of memes, many of which ironically celebrate the announced agreement.

Trump declared on his Truth Social network that he had achieved a "complete and total ceasefire," and referred to the brief conflict as "The 12-Day War."

Curiously, while the world tried to understand whether the peace was real or an illusion, confusion reigned within the ranks of the Republican Party itself. Many who had previously criticized Trump for entering the military conflict, or even believed this could end in a world war, backtracked or apologized, while others directly deleted tweets.

"Anti-Trump people are DESPERATE for this peace agreement between Israel and Iran to fail. They're actively calling for an escalation, so they can save what's left of their credibility," a user stated on X.

"You panicked again. Screaming after every piece of news, like a hysteric, all over the timeline looking for clicks. I'm concerned about your lack of faith," another user wrote ironically, criticizing other "activists" who had abandoned the American president.

There was also criticism for journalist Tucker Carlson, who, after beginning to receive funding from Qatar at the beginning of the year, became a critic of Trump.
